We hope to see you at one of the fantastic Local Offer Live events this week- Wednesday in Runcorn and Friday in Widnes.
There will be 37 local services giving information and advice. Local Offer LIVE is a marketplace event for families, bringing together services across Halton from health, Council services, support groups, activity groups and third sector organisations.
These days really are invaluable and your opportunity as parent carers to not only build your own personal toolkit getting information and advice, but to speak directly with services and have your say and input.

The shoes come off, the smallest request feels enormous, and suddenly it’s all too much. Or perhaps your child goes quiet, retreats to their room and needs everyone to leave them alone.
Does that sound familiar?
This week’s coffee morning is all about masking, behaviour and sensory difficulties—making space to talk about what life really looks like for our families.
We’ll explore:
Masking—and the effort of holding everything together Sensory overload and those “last straw” moments Looking beneath behaviour to understand what might be happening Making room for rest and recovery Practical ideas to try at home and discuss with school
And how does all this feel for us as parents and carers? Because our wellbeing deserves a place in the conversation too.
Come for a cuppa, spill the tea, share what’s working—or simply sit and listen. You don’t need to have the answers, and you won’t be the only one figuring things out.
